		<description>That&#039;s exactly right Karl. They need to be very careful that they avoid the &quot;Yugo-meets-Pinto&quot; perception. And who knows, Tata might still get this right. But now they have to battle a perception of dubious quality.

And yes, Tata did offer the owner a replacement/refund. My sense is that the soon-to-be former owner selected the refund since I read that he was so scared he would never drive another Nano, ...and maybe not even another car.</description>
